1950s Vintage Sock-Hop Poodle Socks

Genuine true vintage 1950s poodle socks or Bobby soxs. The company that made them co sponsored sock hops with a local radio station in Philadelphia called Sockeroos. These are knee socks always worn rolled down to creat a poodle puff at the ankle. Found in a small dept store in Kensington Philadelphia the shop owner told me they were popular with the girls in the neighborhood. btw Kensington had and has a reputation for being a tough neighborhood. Some minor age related discoloration will come out with a soak in oxegenated bleach powder. One size.
