Vintage Striped Bow Tie

1960s Silk bow tie in a paired stripe. Black and steel blues. Why do artists and architects favor bow ties? Is it perhaps because one avoids dragging a conventional tie over a not dry ink drawing? Excellent condition. Bow is 1.25" wide. Adjustable to your size via a sliding buckle.
