50s Shulok Snap Jack Rockabilly Shoes

Very rare original Snap Jack shoes in oxblood leather. Featuring the very trendy Talon Shulok closure. As pitched by Allen Freed and worn by the likes of Eddie Cochran, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins and other greats. The tongue of the shoe flips forward and is adjustable to your size. There were several nicknames for these including grasshopppers, snapjacks, flapjacks and mousetraps. This true vintage pair has leather uppers and a Travelite sole. The model name is embossed in the insole " Varsity ". This pair is a men's 9 1/2 and is in excellent condition.
