1940s Vintage Black Satin Skirt

Classic midnight black rayon acetate satin skirt. Side metal zipper. Non slip lined waistband- The waistband has a rubber coated thread sewn into the lining so a tucked in blouse will not slip out. Also found on men's pants of the era it is one of those nifty tailoring details omitted from later clothing that you wonder why, apart from the expense, they stopped includng it. This slightly flared skirt is light in weight and will become a go to piece for dressier occasions. Excellent condition with no flaws to note. Waist 37" Hips to 50" Length 30"
