Vintage 1960s Chanel Suit

Gorgeous wool knit suit by renowned designer Coco Chanel. Signature gold tone buttons with lion roaring in bas-relief. Chanel's zodiac sign was Leo. Lined in silk twill. This is an example of the iconic suit Chanel was best known for. An unlabeled example with a small ribbon label with mode details "Serpolet" which translates to wild thyme. The color is exactly that. It is dated 1962. From the estate of a former ballerina for the Paris Opera and Dutchess of Leeds. A friend of Chanels, we also got a custom bottle of perfume with a handwritten label in a Nº5 bottle.Her closet was filled with Schiaparelli, Griffe, Ricci, and more.
