Vintage 1940s Levi's 506XX 1st Edition Jacket
Rare 1940s Levi's 506XX Jacket. First edition buckle back pleat front jacket in a very rare XL size. Center seam two piece back. Copper riveted chest pocket. This style was first produced in 1936. Condition is heavily worn and is a great example of the thrifty mind set post depression and through the war years when goods were hard to come by. As long as a garment had life in it it was used and later maybe cut up to patch another or make a quilt top.
