1940s Jackson Pollock Inspired Dress I would bet the farm on this being from 1949 or 1950, the year Pollock burst onto the scene with his terrific Drip paintings. This sheer rayon voile dress is dark midnight blue (nearly black) and white with very bold iconic expressive drips that defined the new post war art coming out of New York.
